| This bill proposes 2 major alterations to the status quo; 1. ALL forested land will come under the designated protection of the government of the Free Republic of Dorvik. As such all acts which are deemed to fundamentally encroach on forested land will have to be approved by the government. 2. As a result the government will fund and maintain a Forestry Agency (DFA) which will be responsible for all forest related issues and management of land. |

| Message | Private forestry industry is regulated to meet environmental standards and there must be a permission for logging. This bill would further increase state's involvement in market economy, decreasing competition and thus increasing inefficiency & bureaucracy. We would like to see both national agency & private forestry companies, not either of two extreme forms. However this is worse than status quo so we oppose this bill. |
