Bill: Federal Republic Act of 2418

Voting deadline: December 2419
Description[?]:
There are certain aspects of Solentian law that betray its status as a federal republic. A federal republic should limit the amount of centralization and regulation placed on member-states of the Republic. While certain laws are important enough that they should be maintained on a federal level, others should be left to the local governments of Solentia. |

Message | The SSDP agrees that adoption regulations are important, however, it feels because it is not a crucial security matter or of specific national interest, it should still be left up to the responsible local governments of Solentian states. It is highly unlikely that adoption policy would be too radically different from state-to-state as each has it in its own interest to have comprehensive adoption laws. The SSDP respects the opinions of the CPS, but would ask or further explanation for why it feels that local governments are unable to dictate their own individual policies on adoption? Finn Jacob, SSDP Chairman. |

Message | While I trust that in general policies set on the state level will align with the national view, I do not think we can risk the fact that there is even the possibility that deviance may arise, and it only takes one local government abolishing adoption parent background checks before the entire system is flawed.
