Message | "The intent of this legislation is two-fold. First, child labor laws will be rewritten to ban the employment of any individual legally considered to not be an adult. This is to protect children from Keymon's unfriendly work environments. Second, except for families of Dolgarian descent or Christian faith, all families will be limited to one child per household. This is to protect the children of immigrants who are often born into poor families. The government's laws have brought many immigrants to our shores, and these immigrants are often very poor. Poverty translates almost directly into crime, especially in large, broken families. The one-child law for immigrants will reduce rape and ensure that there is enough education and welfare to support the remaining children." -- Lain Keymon |

Random fact: Parties have the ability to endorse another party's candidate for the Head of State election (if there is one). This adds a strategic element to the elections. |
