Message | We personally feel that this number of seats results in disorder and delay. Limiting the Jawa to 200 seats permits representation as well as efficiency. |

Message | 200 seats is the bare minimum for any parliament to have. It is far too little to have any accurate representation, and it also limits the power of multiple parties, and instead makes the state controlled by one entity, due to the fact that the Head of State is usually from the party with the most seats. This means that they can basically, if they have a majority, control the entire nation. However, if we raise the maximum amount of seats we could have more parties with more seats, making a larger representation of the different views of our people. This would also make it possible for minority governments, or just a smaller majority. |

Message | Jawatankuasa is original but it sounds crazy. :P Assembly of the Republic, or national parliament, congress, etc is fine by me. |

Message | Well, we shall change the name with a different proposal, for now, the change in seats shall be enough. |

Message | OOC: Jawatankuasa means the ruling council, basically a parliament, in Malay. Since the history and culture of Malivia is based on a cross between India and Malaysia it was chosen. The same for all other names for the country. I rather like having a unique background/names for Malivia. Rather then the whole parliament, president, prime minister thing that is common elsewhere. I admit it can be a pain at times so I shorten it to Jawa in posts as its nice and easy to type. |

Message | OOC: I can respect what your saying, Protectorate Party but, when we've got a Head of State named Bill Clinton......Well...historical background from Malaysia and India seems moot. I'm not being critical of the Liberal Party of Malivia but, I just call them like I see them. |
