MessageForcing corps to pay more to support the LP's excessive funding is not the approach we should be taking. Why are we raising taxes instead of cutting funding. Where is this recession that the LP is trying to prevent with the spending?

MessageCorporate investment is naturally tax exempt so if anything a higher corporate tax is an incentive to more corporate investment and also more corporate philanthropy.

There is no secret recipe to what the LP is trying to accomplish. Combine economic freedom with a strong safety net. A high floor and no ceiling.

PP: [OOC] I've been assured by the game's creators that the economic details of the game simply don't work and don't respond to policy.

MessageOOC: Correct they do not, just responding as the PP would. Your policies seem to indicate a recession, just curious why we are in one.
