Message | The CEFL expresses its intrest to see which is more important to the so called responsible parties. The changes they want for their "workers", or cosmetic constituional changes. What is more important to you; the french language or the "right to strike"? We shall see and so will the people of this great nation. |

Message | "Slavery and the slave trade is allowed." huh? |
Date | 17:23:40, August 14, 2007 CET | From | Union Pour une Nation Homosexuelle | To | Debating the The Confusing Act 2442 |
Message | We do not support it, and we wish to use this act to show that we do not support it ever. |

Message | So what exactly is the point of a bill that has a few good things for workers, then outlaws their own language, legalizes slavery, and enshrines your party in the constitution? |

Message | OOC: beacuse it alows people me to express my position better by voting against a bill. It also forces other parties to alter their positions before an election by votiting against some things they like to stop things they dont like being enacted. Of course the bill will be defeated, but in doing so the CEFL's position will be enhanced by the leftists parties voting against trade unions being strengthend |

Message | Or we could just abstain |

Message | We cannot support state control of industry. |
Date | 23:48:10, August 14, 2007 CET | From | Union Hosienne-Démocrate (UHD) | To | Debating the The Confusing Act 2442 |
Message | The CEFL is clearly trying to gain support by adding in bits of legislation that some members support. Shameful! Since sneaking into office, the CEFL has done nothing more than attempt to piss off the other parties. Such shameful displays of manipulation will not be forgotten by leftist and other parties. For shame! |

Message | Correct AO you can choose to abstain, but this damages your party's visibility. In response to the DLP, surely the offering other parties what they want in exchange for supporting what we want is exactly how parliamentary democracy is supposed to work. This act is intended as an oppurtunity for parties to express their views to the electorate, not as an attempt to actually pass any legislation. The people of Kanjor will be delighted to know that their representatives from the leftists parties do not support greater trade union rights; perhaps they will seek other parties to represent them in the next senate. |
Date | 09:21:53, August 15, 2007 CET | From | Autonomie d'Ouvrier | To | Debating the The Confusing Act 2442 |
Message | We think that the people will understand why we do not vote for a minor increase in workers rights whilst legalizing slavery and criminalizing the language of the majority of the Kanjoran working class. As Bakunin once said, "Liberty without socialism is injustice; Socialism without liberty is slavery." This bill is a literal example of this. This is a foolish move that we thought the CEFL was above. We can clearly see that CEFL has gone mad much like the KCP. The leftist parties and others will do well to ignore the lot of you. We hope that with new elections we can ensure that you will be ousted from government and that your ministers never grace the capital steps again, lest they find themselves with numerous broken bones. |

Message | Such threats on the are unwise, especially from minor parties. We are trying to explain that this act is one we proposed, with the intention of voting against, to show the people of Kanjor what we do not support. We thought other parties would appreciate the chance to show what they prioritise. |
Date | 09:31:46, August 15, 2007 CET | From | Autonomie d'Ouvrier | To | Debating the The Confusing Act 2442 |
Message | Minor party as of now. You shall have a wondrous surprise come election time. |
Date | 09:36:43, August 15, 2007 CET | From | Union Pour une Nation Homosexuelle | To | Debating the The Confusing Act 2442 |
Message | We are certain you will gain some seats of course, but you are competeting for the same votes as several other parties with minimal diversion in ideology. OOC: If elections ever arrrive arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh |
Date | 09:43:01, August 15, 2007 CET | From | Autonomie d'Ouvrier | To | Debating the The Confusing Act 2442 |
Message | We actually have rather different ideologies and should be certain to win big gains. The issues of socialism, regulation and secularism are vital and important to Kanjorans. Suffice it to say I have no doubt that the left will control the government for the foreseeable future. No worries so long as you're respectful we may alow you to play in the sandbox. ooc: But now I get to threaten murder on you and KCP in perpetuity. These exaggerated threats are what makes politics fun! Bollocks to compromise! Annihilating your enemies is way more fun. |

Message | The people of Kanjor will of course see through this pathetic attempt to confuse them. |
