Bill: New Cabinet Proposal Because the Mormons Don't Want To Be In It

Details

Submitted by[?]: Sectual Congress

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill presents the formation of a cabinet. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. Traditionally, parties in the proposal vote yes, others (the opposition) vote no. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in and all parties in the proposal have voted yes, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: January 2443

Description[?]:

Amazingly and despite the 442 "yes" votes, our latest cabinet proposal was defeated because the now-suicidal Mormon party voted against it when they were in it. We have been forced to make a new cabinet proposal that does not include them.

MessageWe meant it to be a protest against us being denied the foreign ministry, and we thought it would pass. We did not know that our voting against would cause it not to pass.

MessageOkay, but for future reference, in any new cabinet proposals I want Justice.

MessageWhy Justice in particular. It has no real power.

MessageBecause we strongly believe that the justice system should be just, and will not stand idly by while the bourgeois tilt the scales in favour of the rich at the expense of the workers.

OOC: And because with a bit of luck I'll be starting college as a law student in September.

MessageAll right, I'll make a new cabinet, for the last time, to accomodate MSP and RSF. I'll ask if anyone else has any requests on the main nation page before I propose it.

Random quote: The Wolfsheim Virus is not a real actual disease in the conventional medical sense of the term. Rather, it is a cluster of symptoms which are just part of the general socio-economic disease that is capitalism. The main symptoms the sufferers are experiencing are a direct result of capitalist poverty, as in malnutrition, poor housing and so on, combined with psycho-somatic symptoms which are a direct consequence of the contradictions and stresses which are inherent to the capitalist system. ~ Friedrich Pfeiffer, General Secretary of the Dorvish Communist Party
