Bill: Firearm Ownership Bill

Details

Submitted by[?]: 2ème PPPP

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: February 2444

Description[?]:

It is clear to the PPPP that firearm ownership does not make a person any safer, but only endangers everyone around them. By outlawing all private ownership of guns, gun crimes may very well become a thing of the past. Our vision of the future contains streets free of lethal weapons, and if you don't share such a dream we welcome you to explain your stand to the people of Kanjor.

MessageWorker's self defense is very important to us. Company thugs and police have committed great crimes against the the Kanjoran Working Class. Disarming the people is not a good proscription in this case.

MessageThe PPK has a point, so I will also add a proposal that will limit the arming of police to only extreme situations.

MessageWe would reverse the act, Police have only non lethal weapons ever, but the public may carry.
The police have raided the homosexual communities bars and legitimate "clubs" mant times, we trust them not.
But the public should be able to buy non-automatic weapons, afterall some of them are very shiny.

MessageSorry 4P's, we support gun-control, but this does go a little too far. If we had seen this sooner, we would have recommended liscensing and such. Plus, we do not believe that police and other local authorities should be left naked and defenseless to whomever wishes to kill an officer of the state and law.

We would hope to see a 4P support of a DLP bill that engages in gun control but does not go to such extremes.

Random fact: It usually takes up to an hour for election results to generate. During this time, the "Next Election" date is put forward a month, which is confusing. Do not worry! In a short time, the election result will generate and the "Next Election" date will then correct itself.
