Bill: The Government Stability Act, October 2094
Details
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: June 2095
Description[?]:
This would give the Legislature 12-day terms. I know my majority is a bit rediculous, so I'd like to put this to a vote in the Cabinet Proposal thread (one party-one vote), and if you guys vote it against it in Cabinet, I'll change my vote here. |

Message | After further review of the legislation we have come to the conclusion that 6 years is too long for the legislative and executive term. Although we agree lengthening the term from 3 years to 4 or 5 would be in the best interests of maintaining a stable government. |
