Bill: Democracy Restoration Initiative

Details

Submitted by[?]: Ma'avak

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill proposes the withdrawal from a treaty. It will require half of the legislature to vote in favor[?]. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: December 2446

Description[?]:

"The period of transition is over and the numerous threats to our nation that necessitated a more authoritarian style of government are fast diminishing. Thus after much discussion the Beiteynu Resistance Committee has taken it upon itself to remove the transitional government from power. The Mizrachi Ligat, showing their dedication to democracy and devotion to our nation have willing opted to stand down from holders of all cabinet roles and allow a coalition government proportional to elected representatives in the Sanhedrin to be formed. Therefore let it henceforth be known that it was the Beiteynu Resistance Committee that saved the nation from destruction and the same Beiteynu Resistance Committee that restored democracy when the salvation was complete!

Hurrah!"

Random fact: "Game mechanics comes first." For example, if a currently-enforced bill sets out one law, then a player cannot claim the government has set out a contradictory law.
