Bill: Acte de Prostitution

Details

Submitted by[?]: 2ème PPPP

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: September 2447

Description[?]:

I truly do not understand why so many important issues in this nation have been left to the discretion of local governments.

I think we all agree that people have the right to do with their bodies what they will, so let's recognize and regulate the reality of prostitution throughout our country.

MessagePure decadence! For a nation to remain strong it must center around wholeness and purity. Prostitution implies none of these things.

MessageThe right to do what you will with yourself is decadence?

MessageOf course! The "right" to sell one's body for the use by another is surely decadence! What else could it be? Freedom? Individualism? If that is what "freedom" and "individualism" are to the PPK, maybe they have no place within a nation. We see no positive qualities within those two "ideas".

Socially abandoned and insecure young people who "work" darkened corners do not seem to present any form of positive "freedom" nor do they express their "individualism" as faceless slabs of meat to be ravaged by paying deviants.

Surely the PPK agrees that the violation of the human body for cash is something that should not be to encouraged and has no redeeming social, spiritual or individual qualities. Freedom? In what way?

Pro Patria!

MessagePerhaps the PPK does agree with me, but I don't know.

The PPPP (that's me) and its progressive forbears have worked hard to ensure that no Kanjoran citizen would ever be forced to the desperation that you describe. In this blessed welfare state of ours it is very safe to assume that any prostitute here prostitutes themselves with full consent and just wishes to earn money in that way.

MessageIn the UPFF statement it appears they are opposed to this measure, but they have voted for it?

MessageWe find it ironic that the PPP says on one hand that "that people have the right to do with their bodies what they will" but on the other wishes to "regulate the reality of prostitution". Seems a bit contradictory to us.
