Bill: Structuring and Reformimg our Anthem

Details

Submitted by[?]: Liberty Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: January 2448

Description[?]:

The Liberty Party has long believed our nation anthem to be too short, and musically unstructured. Though we see the benefits in a simplistic anthem, we feel that our anthem is something sacred to be treasured, and should require some effort to learn, to experience the spirit of a great national anthem.
We also acknowledge that the people will choose a common anthem to be played, perhaps signing only one or two verses.
OCC NOTE:
Our original lyrics, attempted to go to the tune of "My Country", Midnight Oil, though for those who know the song (great rock song from Australia's best band, in my opinion), some words will have to be held longer then the original Midnight Oil hit.

MessageI'll keep this open for debate, I don't claim to be a master song writer, I'd love some input. Lets all work together to replace the outdated, rushed, original anthem.

MessageWow, I'm pleased. I didn't expect support from either of you, especially not the Cavaliers. Fantastic, I'll put this to the vote.
RSFA, the answer to your question is in the OCC NOTE of the description:

Random quote: "Soldiers are not the enemies of the movement. They're potential allies. They're more than that. Soldiers are the only people in America who are paying a stiff price for this war. Everybody else profits. Soldiers are the ones losing their lives, losing friends, having their lives disrupted. The real victims of American imperialism are its soldiers." - Fred Gardner
