| Message | I concur with the Liberals Party, the mothers rights of great importance. However, we must look at the rights of the child also. This issue is a delicate one, and we have seen it debated on many occations, if the mother couldnt bring up the child in a stable home, is it right to subject a child to this? If the child has a disability, does that means he/she should die? Many questions, few answers set in stone. We cannot support a legislation that would allow for the "right to choice" be revoked or lessened in value. |

| Message | Thank you Rose Donovan for addressing the floor on these key issues. We the Labour Party Feels that abortion is very wrong and that it should only be permitted in cases of emergency. We so no reasons at all why a child should be killed/terminated unless the reason is a very good one- i.e- an emergency. We thank the FIP and Conservative Party in helping us with this bill and are glad they share the same acknowledgement of urgency that we possess as regards this issue. |

| Message | Evidently, the issue posed by the abortion issue is not whether it is right to kill a child, but whether an unborn fetus is a child. We won't go into a biological discussion here, for this is not a biological question. It is a juridical problem, and it must be assessed as such. Juridically, we find it impossible to ascribe "rights" to unborn fetuses, for the many insoluble problems that that would pose. At the end, if a woman does not want to give birth, there is no human law that can forbid her from the most extreme measure: suicide. And would we put in jail a pregnant woman who attempted against her own life? The international experience shows that forbidding abortions has never ended the practice, only made it clandestine, more dangerous, more unhealthy. So it's a firm "no" from the WP. | Message | Once again I state to all parties of Solentia that the law in its current state is acceptable. The issue is an extremely controversial one. Solentia encompasses a wide range of political views, and I feel that the law in its current state is a perfect comprimise between the strong affirmative, and the strong negative.
