Message | Article 1: Agree. Like the emphasis on income level rather than size. Article 2: Strongly Disagree. We can't just let anybody adopt a child. We need to have certain standards would-be parents are held to. Article 3: Agree. Article 4: Strongly Agree. Would-be parents must meet certain standards to prevent our nation from decaying due to out-of-control growth from families who cannot financially, emotionally, and morally support their children. Articles 2 and 4 seem to be at odds with each other though. If you are filtering out parents, but removing the restrictions from adoption, those would-be parents could just adopt, unless they are child abusers. If we are to institute requirements for parents, they should be held for both natural and adoptive parents. If you get rid of, or modify article 2, we will support this bill. |
