| It is faulty reasoning to argue in favor prostitution in the name of individual liberty and freedom of choice. Most prostitutes work against their will, often because of a hopeless financial situation. Even more often, these women are the victims of organized crime, forced into sex slavery by human smugglers and tough criminals. Our solution is to make prostitution illegal and channel funds into investigating organized crime. True liberty and freedom of choice for women will only emerge by ending sexual and gender based oppression. |
