MessageWe can not agree to this banning of casinos, they boost the economy as well as increase prestige. In addition to which people should be allowed to do with their money what they wish, whether with friends or with businesses and gambling is no different..

Message"I can understand the position of the CLPCP, but I feel deeply uneasy about the complete lack of regulation of something that leads to addiction and destruction of lives. I hope that some sort of compromise can be reached between all parties, whereby we can control this scourge while minimising impact on the economy."

MessageIsn't it possible to switch it to this option instead?

"Gambling is illegal unless taking place in a licensed casino." That would certainly bring more parties on board.

Message"The problem with that is it outlaws gambling between friends in their own homes, which we really don't have a problem with; its the casinos, which, in order to make extra profit, create and exploits gambling addicts. Would the MVP be prepared to support legal gambling in private homes and specially licensed casinos?"

Message"Since we have heard no word back form any of the liberal parties about views on the proposed change, we will put this bill to vote as it is. It is disapointing that compromise between the different factions in the Sanhedrin has, once again, failed."
