Bill: People's Health before profit.
Details
Submitted by[?]: Communist Workers Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: November 2098
Description[?]:
We need a National Health Service that is run on the basis of need not profit. Private health clinics reserve the best places for paying customers. Quality is not gauranteed for the poor who have to rely on government vouchers. Let the privateers compete fairly with a properly funded public health service. |

Old value:: Health care is private, but is paid for by the state for people with low incomes.
Current: Health care is private, but the government subsidises the cost of it for all citizens.

Message | There's nothing wrong with the current system as far as we're concerned. Though we would prefer hospitals to be non-profit. |
