Message | There are a number of problems with this proposal. To begin, marijuana is not physically addicting. Some patients with certain illnesses do not respond to other medication, or may find other medicines dangerous. Marijuana, being entirely non-toxic, does not harm the body, and as such is safe for use as a sedative, appetite inducer, and eliminator of nausea (its first medicinal use). Restricting doctors from using medicine which they know will work and is better than other drugs is pure insanity. |
