Bill: Adoption Rights Bill
Details
Submitted by[?]: Social Democratic Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: November 2475
Description[?]:
This current law is a terrible discrimination against homosexual couples and single men and women who desire children but cannot or will not procreate. Homosexual couples are just as capable, loving, and willing to raise children in a caring and nurturing manner as any heterosexual couple. Homosexuality has no bearing on a couple's ability to raise children. Single men and women are also capable of raising children. Look to the myriad of single mothers and fathers who are still able to raise upstanding citizens. The dark-age ideas of children requiring both a father and a mother to be raised healthfully is long dead. Embrace the future, it loves you, unlike the past. |
