Message | Perhaps the UU party has misread the current law: does the law read that employers may indiscriminately fire workers who go on strike, or does the law read that employers may fire workers who strike even though the workers do not have just cause? The wording of this bill is unclear. We would urge Pontesi to err on the side of caution, here, and allow workers every protection while striking--truthfully, whether or not the employer finds just cause for the strike is irrelevant to the worker's need to strike to improve working conditions. |

Date | 08:54:07, October 26, 2007 CET | From | Nrzi Prta (Democratic Party) | To | Debating the Safe Strike Act |
Message | The ETPRP believe that if you give too much power to the worker than the business will collapsed because the worker will get greedy so we must oppose to this bill. |

Random fact: Did you know you can change the official name of your nation? All you need to do is draw up a new name that is in accordance with the Nation Renaming Guide, pass a bill proposing the name change with a two-thirds majority and then post a request to Moderation on the "Renaming Requests" thread. You can change city and region names in this way too. |
