Message | Article 5 we oppose because it incentivizes illegal activity. If a person is born in this country to parents who are in the country illegally, they should not benefit from this illegal activity. Article 6 we have a problem with because of a lack of defination of GM. is crosbreeding crops illegal under this bill? The genetic structure of the resultant plant is different than either of the parent plants, but this process occurs in nature. Overall, however, we favor this bill. |

Message | We are ADAMANTLY opposed to articles 3 & 6 , but 4 out of 6 is better than nothing. |

Message | Painful. The adoption clause opens up unnecessary risk, the GM clause seems unnecessarily restrictive with our population so huge and hungry, the citizenship clause rewards those who are lucky enough to fall out of mommy this side of a certain line, and the parenting clause seems counterproductive. On the other hand - the 'everyone can adopt' thing is a huge improvement - but not without screening. The museum thing is perfect. We are divided. Overall - we just can't support - but it pains us. |
