| As one of the world's few monarchies, we feel the need to make our presence both heard and respected in the world. We do not wish to be too suspicious, but we know of certain international activites against the monarchy. To impose our role as the LEADER AND PROTECTOR of the Kings of terra, we must become, in form and function, an Empire. Empire does not mean highly militarist or even bent on conquest, but rather a large, multi-ethnic, and centralized nation. Isn't this what we should be? In name, an empire relects properties which a mere kingdom simply does not have. It implies a higher degree of greatness and splendor and shows that the nation has truely arrived among the world's leaders. Here are some examples: The Roman Empire, the Russian Empire, the Austro-Hungarian Empire, the French Empire, the British Empire. All should strike one with a thought of their importance in history. Though the current empires of terra are not so great, one must admit that they at first strike one with a greater sense of awe than a kingdom. The dialectics believe that form and function are both intertwined, constantly changing each other. If we are an empire in name, perhaps we will start to function more like an empire. The other nations of the world will undoughtably see us and treat us diffently, if not only a little. However, we should also direct our form into that of an empire manually. We must increase centralization, our military power and/or defense, and find our sense of nationalism. Once this happens, we may truely become the savior and protector of the world's monarchies. Sorry for the rambling speech, but we thought we needed lots of evidence and argument. Also, if passed, we will change our name to the Rildanoran Empire or the Empire of Rildanor |
