Description[?]:
"The profesisonal retirement age is so young as to be ridiculous. Retiring workers at such young ages is a huge burden upon businesses. Likewise, those 50 years old or order are certainly willing and able to work. Agism must not be the national policy of a prgoressive nation. The DPUF's national community organization L'Organisation Nationale de Voisinages (NV), has gone door to door with the DPUF's Jeunes Ligue de Patriotes (JLP) interviewing, aiding and just generally getting in touch with the people of all classes throughout the entire country. Through their efforts and their data, the Culture and Education Ministry have concluded that many have been unjustly and prematurely forced into retirement when they were financially and mentally unprepared to do so. Almost one in twenty reported they knew an individual or a family who had been directly or indirectly effected by the current law. Many victims interviewed reported that their companies had pushed them out to make way for younger (and cheaper) applicants with less experience and occupational "know-how". The Ministry proposes, with the support of the UPNH and other members of the Unity Cabinet, that the retirement age be reinstated at the more realistic age of 60." Joseph St. Martin Minister of Education and Culture Le Devant Patriotique Uni de Fascistes The DPUF has heard and has decided to lower its age to 60, thus allowing for a further 10 years for employees to gain wealth and retain their positions and seniority. |

Message | I think instead of making the retirement age higher, forcing them to work until 65, we should have laws which prevent business from forcing them to retire. Retirement should be about choice, not being old. The elderly should have the choice of when they should retire, and making them work an extra fifteen years of their life isn't giving them that choice. |

Message | If you wish to lower the age to something, please give us an age. You believe 65 is too old and we believe 50 is too young, so propose a replacement age. OOC: I think this is the only retirement laws the game has, so we have to work with it. |

Message | I would suggest that people are not forced to retire at 50. They simply may if they choose. |
