Bill: The End of the Welfare State

Details

Submitted by[?]: Parti Libertaire

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: March 2501

Description[?]:

This has been an ongoing problem in our nation: citizens relying on the government's aid and not seeking to improve their standards of living by supporting themselves.
We still recognize the necessity to support those who are still unable to support themselves, however it should not be to a degree where it will attract those who CAN support themselves as well.
By lowering welfare handouts we can lower taxes as well and allow those who have earned their luxory to better reap their rewards.

Messageso instead of a "welfare" state, we'll be more of a, well, corporate state I guess.... I'd rather not go towards that end.

MessageIf this passes we have half a mind to become the Socialist Sovalt Secession Sect. For the sake of all Kanjor, we must preserve the government traditions that bring our nation so much equality, justice, peace and progress.

MessageWho said that we would support these kind of propositions? Besides, this Bill would certainly not create a corporate state and in fact would be the antithesis of a corporate state.

MessagePU; sitting and plotting is fine, however, be very aware of being betrayed at any time as the DPUF has; learn from our mistakes, as we certainly have.
