Bill: The End of the Welfare State
Details
Submitted by[?]: Parti Libertaire
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: March 2501
Description[?]:
This has been an ongoing problem in our nation: citizens relying on the government's aid and not seeking to improve their standards of living by supporting themselves. We still recognize the necessity to support those who are still unable to support themselves, however it should not be to a degree where it will attract those who CAN support themselves as well. By lowering welfare handouts we can lower taxes as well and allow those who have earned their luxory to better reap their rewards. |
