Bill: Decentralization Bill (2504)
Details
Submitted by[?]: Normand Pluralist Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 2504
Description[?]:
Sekowo is too federalized. More issues need to be left to local governments; the different regions of Sekowo have different traditions and values, and these should be respected and encouraged. Diversity gives us strength. In addition to the other articles outlined, this law requires local governments to conduct affairs with transparency, and to report to a federal committee on these issues. Failure to uphold minimal safety, health, civil, and environmental standards will result in a revocation of local governance of the relevant issues. |

Message | 2 and 3 are issues we feel are too important to be left to local governments. 1 was recently put the way it is, so we do not want to reverse it right away, we grow tiered of these tug-of-war bills. |
Date | 01:54:53, December 21, 2007 CET | From | 帝国公明党 (Teikoku Kōmeitō) | To | Debating the Decentralization Bill (2504) |
Message | 1. Local governments can not be trusted with this, especially if someone who wants to make all hunting legal were to get in charge. 2. That's just foolish. 3. Freedom for all, not just people who live in places that allow it, we don't care what some hicks in the backwoods think about it. |

Message | We feel 2 is too imortant for local government, but would haiply vote for the other 2 if they were put to vote by themselves |
