MessageI've explained my opposition to this multiple times, but I'll do it again. Small-unit morale and cohesion is the most important factor (outside of the pure logistical functions of supplies and modern weaponry) in a modern military. You cause unnecessary trouble by allowing open homosexuality. If gay men want to serve, just have them keep it quiet while they are there.

MessageThe Patriot stance raises clear human rights issues; isn't it obvious that forcing members of the military to hide their loved ones from their collegues in order to keep their jobs will damage unit cohesiveness?
