Message | Articles 1 and 3 serve to protect Darnussian culture. Article 2 takes the hand of government out of the business of censorship. Other than maintaining a ban on child pornography and other types of criminal behavior (which has already been accomplished in Darnussian law independently of this portion of the Code), the government has no business regulating what products come out of Darnussian studios. Article 4 is necessary, so that the government can ensure that the trains continue to run in smaller towns, whose continued service would not be favored by market forces. Rural Darnussian transportation must not be crippled; some form of government intervention is the only way to ensure full service for all Darnussians. |
