From | People's Populist Party - Zogist Mafia | To | Debating the An end to central banking | Message | ooc: did you see the link in my last banking bill? in reality I support Ron Paul, who wants hard money. The weak US dollar, supply-side economics and predatory lending which encourage it are major problems in america today.
bic: Centralized banking is yet another way to exploit the working man! |

From | Protectorate Party | To | Debating the An end to central banking | Message | ooc: I don't think Congressmen Paul is against a central bank but the US Federal Reserve System which really isn't a bank but a group of financiers. |

From | Protectorate Party | To | Debating the An end to central banking | Message | I must disagree. A Central Bank will enure the stablity of the Beluz and keep down inflation and rampant decline of the Beluz against foreign currency. Inflation and loss our our spending power is the danger to the hardworking men and women of our country. |

From | Protectorate Party | To | Debating the An end to central banking | Message | That is a common fallacy that central banks cause high inflation. Dr. Thomas W. Wilson of the University of Bailon has written an excellent book on subject called Mountains of Gold: Gold and Central Banks. He very persuasive argument that is is lack of gold in central banks that leave bank notes worthless and higher inflation. He spoke recently at gathering one of our fellowship meetings. I strongly recommend it. |

From | Constitutional Monarchy Party | To | Debating the An end to central banking | Message | ( Im fucked off with my bank, they charged me £35 because my University tried to take my rent early. GRRR £35 for "Administration Costs"... like it costs that to write a letter!!! ) |

From | Beluzian Workers Party | To | Debating the An end to central banking | Message | Inflation isn't really a problem in Beluzia, since the value of our currency is fixed (ooc: mainly due to the lack of an economics engine in the game). Really, I suppose there is no need for a central bank in Beluzia, either. I agree with the PPP. |

Random fact: In Culturally Protected nations, special care must be taken to ensure realism is maintained when role-playing a government controlled by an ethnic and/or religious minority. If it is to be supposed that this government is supported by a majority of the population, then this should be plausibly and sufficiently role-played. The burden of proof is on the player or players role-playing such a regime to demonstrate that it is being done realistically |
