Bill: FDP 006: Peace
Details
Submitted by[?]: Free Democratic Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: March 2517
Description[?]:
The Free Democratic Party believes in the right of self determination, peace, and a non-interventionist foreign policy. For this reason, we propose the following: To never use chemical or biological weapons, these are horrid weapons that can kill thousands, if not hundreds of thousands, and not necessarily our opponents in warfare as they could come back and harm our own civilians. To remove the military from the police force, no civilised country allows the military to police its streets. To not own nuclear arms, nuclear weapons are hideously powerful weapons that indiscriminately kill millions and lay land to waste. Due to this, using them is also morally wrong. |

Message | We also think that these measures are too extreme, including the police measure; while the police remain unable to use military-grade weapons, they need the support of the military at times. We, however, would hesitate to vote against this bill. |
