MessageWe are opposed to this as we feel the current situation is working just fine.
That is standardized testing is not the premeir way of testing knowledge, but does still happen occasionally.

We want a smart intelligent populace, not one full of working class drones.

MessageWe already have this in the works as part of our education bill. There's really no reason to list it separately; I'm going to do what I can to ensure it passes.

MessageIf we need industry we can just get robots to build things, it's much cheaper, much more reliable and allows for the goals of socialism to be met faster.

MessageIn the manufacturing sector of the industry, robots only go so far. Quality control is done by humans.

There are other sectors of the industry (e.g. management, purchasing, credit, accounting, etc.) that are assisted by machines like computer but are entirely run and decided by humans.

MessageTrue, but what we're getting at is that basic labour jobs, like building things over and over are better left to robots.

We need to be producing smart, creative people, not idiots who can do little more than farm/factory work.

MessageYes, and those people subsequently have to be smart.
Besides we've used robots for decades, so it's not like they are'nt already there.
