Bill: Organ Donation Shortage

Details

Submitted by[?]: Beach Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: May 2108

Description[?]:

Many people do not state if they would or wouldn't like to donate their organs and it is left to their next of kin, who is obviously in a terrible state emotionally to quickly decide if the organs should be donated. To stop the current nation wide shortage I propose an amendment to the legations that still allows people not to donate if they chose, but does not burden their loved ones with a tough choice.

Random fact: In order for a Cabinet bill to pass, more than half of the legislature must vote for it and all of the parties included in the proposed Cabinet must support it. If your nation has a Head of State who is also the Head of Government, then the party controlling this character must also vote for the bill, since the Head of Government is also a member of the Cabinet. If any of these requirements are not met, the bill will not pass.

Random quote: "Who are the militia? Are they not ourselves? Is it feared, then, that we shall turn our arms each man gainst his own bosom. Congress have no power to disarm the militia. Their swords, and every other terrible implement of the soldier, are the birthright of an American...[T]he unlimited power of the sword is not in the hands of either the federal or state governments, but, where I trust in God it will ever remain, in the hands of the people." - Tenche Coxe
