Message | Why should we treat our PoW:s with internationally-accepted standards if our potential enemies in Hobrazia do not do the same? This is a weakness we can not afford. Out own laws are good enough. |

Message | And government has no right to interfere in private businesses, including defence industries. We can limit the weapons trades to our enemies, but this kind of interfering is not required to achieve that. |

Message | The right is showing it's inherent failings clearly now! You put so much faith and onus on the importance of military power, and then leave our country at the whim of the private sector? Worse still, you propose that War should, necessarily, become a profit driven enterprise for the benefit of the rich? No care for the safety of our citizens, or the conditions of our soldiers, just the wealth of the bosses. When we seek to make money from death, then we have reached the end of humanity. The DLA seems to be saying here 'our enemies are barbaric, so Darnussia must be barbaric in turn'. Prisoners of war can no longer fight, why make them suffer for the decisions made by their government? By agreeing internationally how to treat PoWs, perhaps we can limit other's treatment of our own brave men; alternatively we can promote brutality and needless suffering. The NRCP calls upon all right thinking parties of Darnussia to reject this legislation outright, and the DLA with it! |
