The NCP recognises that some of our citizens wish to use recreational drugs. However, we also recognise that other citizens do not wish to have such drugs corrupting their society. Message | First, there's a pretty strong consensus here for no more or less than the current drug regulation. Second, this would be ineffective if implemented, as people would go to where the drug they desired was legal. This was the same reason we took firework controls out of the hands of local governments. |

Message | We do not want to hand this issue over to the local governments. |
Date | 12:49:47, September 09, 2005 CET | From | Neoretropostmodernist Party | To | Debating the Recreation Drug Bill |
Message | This would cause too much of a problem of drugs of dubious legality being passed over the unregulated borders of the provinces. |
