Bill: Vintalli Right to Sovereignty

Details

Submitted by[?]: Disdainist PSWP

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: June 2547

Description[?]:

It as become very apparent to us after this last election that the people of Vintalli wish for a further unity with the people of Gaduridos. And as a bastion for equality throughout the world of Terra, it seems paramount to our future that we acknowledge them as such.

As such, it is my desire that we should remove the provision in place upon Vintalli political parties and allow them once again to run for the office of Head of State (currently known as Benevolent Dictator).

Let us move in a direction of equality, and of acceptance!

MessageWe were unaware such a ban was in place. Now that we have been made aware, we certainly want to remove it.

Message[OOC: I'll note that this restriction was placed as part of the semi-autonomy bill - essentially, to limit the Vintalli power, it was created to "balance" the parties, by the HTM, iirc.]

Random fact: The voters enjoy active parties who take upon themselves the initiative to create laws.

Random quote: "Democrats couldn't care less if people in Indiana hate them. But if Europeans curl their lips, liberals can't look at themselves in the mirror." - Ann Coulter
