MessageIf the VRP is not interested in a religious monarchy, the Zambrano Junta demands the dismissal of the two Erisian Popes currently serving in the nation's cabinet.

MessageThe VRP asks why these members of the cabinet ought to be dismissed - they were elected to the their positions, not appointed. To dismiss them would be unlawful and set a bad precedent.

MessageAs you can see in the Party description:
"The Network is based on pagan and discordian religious ideas, however it poses great attention to religious liberty and laicism of the government."
Also, anyone is an Erisian Pope if (s)he chooses to be.

[OOC: sorry to be so little participative - this games intrigues me a lot but I count my free time in minutes a day...]

MessageOOC:
Hey GPDN, no problem and I do understand what it all means as I have researched Discordianism and the Principia Discordia after you were appointed to the cabinet lol. My IC stance is of course for RP purposes to liven things up around here ^_^.

IC:
The VRP is delusional. Cabinet members are not elected, they are appointed.

The GPDN is a religious organization and their inclusion in the cabinet of self proclaimed Popes is a violation of the separation of church and state. The Zambrano Junta demands a return to secular government.

MessageThey are not appointed - a vote of the legislature puts them into their position. It is not the decision of the leader of the country who is in the cabinet. This is an election, not an appointing.
