| The border crisis triggered by our intended interference in the Luthori Crisis seems to have been gotten way more serious lately. The Hobrazian Broadcasting Corporation gave the following message: "MILITARY the government today announced plans for a substantial increase in the defence budget. this will help to provide better equipment and training for our military personnel, it will also be used to fund new units and help enlarge the armed forces. The government also announced that further troops were being deployed to 'Sensitive areas' of the nation for greater protection from potential threats. No specific location have been given but this is thought to refer to the border with darnussia. where now it is believed 600,000 troops have been stationed. In the coastal areas off the capital this morning a large exercise took place in front of the public highlighting the nations ability of attacking from the sea onto heavily defended positions. This exercise involved over 60,000 men from all four branches of the military. The exercise ended this evening with a larger exercise planned to demonstrate a full invasion on a group of islands just of the coast. The exercises have been planned many months ago and have been kept secret up until it invited people to come and view some of the activities and operations that can take place. " We, the DLA, suggest we also remobilize our army to the border, just to make sure. We will never initiate in violence first, but we should be ready to defend ourselves. |

| Message | OOC: Ok since I have been doing all roleplaying on this matter, I should explain the case a little bit. When we decided to support the Luthori Republicans in their efforts we were extremely worried about the Foreign, non Luthori troops that had been posted near our own borders. Then it got somewhat out of hand when the Hobrazians denied that there actually was any invasion in Darnussia during their reign here. They said we joined them freely, when that was obviously not the case when the decision was made by a puppet government formed by the Imperial Power Party that had illegal majority when one party was inactivated. Fortunately the Luthori factions had started peacetalks and there was no need for our intervention, but the Hobrazian were furiois because of our righteous claims about their Fascist invasion in Darnussia. Obviously when there was not going to be any war in Luthori, we mainly withdrew from the border, but now the Hobrazians are getting all too edgy. |
