| A professional, volunteer army is always better than a drafted army. Drafting citizens in a time of war, with a nation the size of hours, merely leads to wasted deaths. Drafts have no place in a military. Mandatory military service also has no place in a nation the size of ours. Instead, our nation should support a full time, professional, and completely voluntary military, that is the highest honour to join. |

Old value:: All adults upon completion of schooling can be required in times of war to serve a term in the military.
Current: All adults upon completion of schooling must serve either a term in the military or a lesser paid term of civilian national service, at their option.
Proposed: There shall be no mandatory military or civilian national service.
