Message | If parents do not want their children to see particular types of programming, they should use parental control measures through their television and/or programming provider. It is not the state's role to enact into law what any responsible parent should be doing on his or her own. James Lott Chairman Democratic Capitalist Delegation |

Message | So that is grounds enough for the government to start dictating moral standards? If the cable company doesn't offer blocking of channels, then the TV set most likely does. All television sets currently produced in Telamon have parental control options built in. Just because a very small minority of parents may not have any way to offer their children controlled access to television is not grounds to dictate moral standards or regulate the freedom of Telamonians to communicate. If such parents really feel strongly opposed to content on television, they should not keep a television in their household. James Lott Chairman Democratic Capitalist Delegation |
