Message | We see nothing wrong with a uniform curriculum with opt out clauses. |
Date | 08:12:17, May 26, 2008 CET | From | The National Party for the People | To | Debating the Sexual Education Act |
Message | We see this as the wrong option. You should have to have SexEd, but only be able to opt-out with a religious point, or a ver good parent note. |
Date | 11:27:05, May 26, 2008 CET | From | Imperium Party | To | Debating the Sexual Education Act |
Message | We need to tell schools and make it compulsory for them to teach sexual education at a certain age, first at the age of 12 were they understand the basics of it such as how you start to grow hair in areas that haven't grown before, your breasts get enlarge, your voice deeper, your hips widen etc. Then around the age of 15-16 invest on sex-education teachers, going around different schools teaching students about safe sex, use of condoms and dangers of unprotected sex. The government needs to outline the rules and we think the minster of health and minister of education should address this bill with immediate effect. |
Date | 19:36:42, May 26, 2008 CET | From | Commonwealth Party | To | Debating the Sexual Education Act |
Message | Health teachers should be able to teach sex education. We dont think it should be an age limit to give people information about it, we believe in Middle school health teachers should teach about why the physical changes occur and talk about what is sex and both positive and negative outcomes if it is done. In high school the real courses about sex and proper usage should be taught with a review from what was taught in middle school. The Commonwealth Party does support this bill. |
