MessageNo! Because, if someone doesn't get vaccinated, then he becomes a danger for public health when he gets ill. No religion or ideology can stop that.

MessageParents have no right to put a child at risk because of THEIR religious or ideological beliefs. A child should not be put in harms way because of the belief of someone else, regardless of who that someone else is.

MessageIt's not only children that are at risk, it is also the people who come in contact with ill children.

RDF is very dissapointed by the actions of FEWP and Shaor, because we think that voting for this law is just unreasonable, if not dangerous for public health and public security.

RDF will continue to promote health, and vaccinations, despite all negative effects (and every cure can have side effects, but should we ban all the drugs and whole medicine then?) have positive influence and only contribute to the health of whole nation.

Message"What is wrong with you, guys? Are there any religious or ideological reasons that some parents can choose illness for their kids? We are not talking here about some easily curable disease, we are talking here about very severe diseases, which can very easily lead to some medical disability, and even to death, in many cases! We are talking here about tetanus, polio, and other very severe diseases. We are talking here also about very contagious and infectious diseases, which can kill tens, thousands, even millions of people.

I'm asking you now, is there any religion who could stop that? Is there any ideology which can bring safety to our homes? Now, every citizen of Rutania should be worried- because, maybe his neighbour decides not to vaccinate his kids because of some absurd reasons, which are just unscientifical and unreasonable, if not dangerous. This is very hard decisions, my gentlemen, and I hope that you could live with its consequences. When some infectious disease comes into our country, there is no way that we can be protected and safe, knowing that there are people who could infect us.

It is absolutely absurd that the current Minister of Health, Fred Hampton of Commonwealth Party, supports this law. Maybe he should ask himself, is he really following medical ethics? I'm now asking Mr. Hampton, to resign his position in the government!¨"

MessageThe Minister of Health, Fred Hampton supports the current law as he supported(and majority of the party back then) bringing it into effect. But the current members in the Commonwealth Party are split between this proposal. For the past couple of months Fred Hampton has been trying to get some key votes in the party to overturn its current stance on this issue and explains that the mandatory vaccinations may be linked to the grower population who are living healthier and longer. Fred Hampton does not support some of the party members in the National Congress because they are not supporting what the party stands for, and thats the common good...With the growing pressure from Hakeem Howard and Malik Zulu Shabazz, party members may overturn their vote.

OOC: I really accidently pressed yes for this one(I had many windows up because of all the new proposals). I meant to keep this on abstain to actually identify with my party being split(because your party can't be split but have a yes vote, that dont make no sense) but sinse the RDF said what they said, i just went ahead and ran wit it even though not in the way planned...

MessageOOC: No hard feelings, it's just RP :-)

RP: "RDF is glad that the Commonwealth Party voted against this law. Unfortunately, there are many others who just don't understand the connection between vaccination and health. I hope that they will understand- RDF will therefore organize a series of lectures about usefulness of vaccinations.
Mr. Hamtpon, I'm very glad that you are on our side!"

MessageWe fully understand the great health benefits of vaccinations, and we think they are great, and that everyone should get them.

But if an epidemic happened in Rutania, the people who would get sick are the children of the parents who decided to opt them out of getting vaccinated. Those who have been vaccinated will not get the disease, assuming vaccinations are up-to-date and effective. It is the parents who will have to abide by the consequences of not vaccinating their children.

Furthermore, when opting out of vaccinations is illegal, people with strong religious or ideological beliefs will not get their children vaccinated anyway.

We must educate parents (and children) about the benefits of vaccinations, so that more people choose to get their chldren vaccinated. Restriction, as in the case of abortion, will only disguise the problem. Let us reach out to the skeptics.

MessageThis government will organize a major educating campaign about vaccination, but we hope that vaccination soon will be mandated for all children. We see this not as restriction, we see this as a fundamental public health measure.
