| Message | This new breakdown of income tax allocation means that, in real terms, the majority of Darnussians are paying significantly less tax than they previously were. However, the super-right minority have too long been allowed to pay next to nothing, while enjoying public services supported by the poorest in our society. This new tax bill ensures that they pay a fair share for the security, opportunity and freedom we grant them. Equally, the introduction of a more complex tax scale means that those in poor and middle income groups will not suffer a tax hike, and indeed the vast majority will pay less once the burden has been lifted by the richest in our nation. This new structure also makes the process of reducing tax contribution far simpler for the long term, meaning that as our nation recovers from the ravages of over-grown corporations and greedy bosses, we can reduce the tax payed by all citizens at an equal rate, not one which benefits only the richest. |
