Bill: Alcohol Reform Act, 2586

Details

Submitted by[?]: Federal Rutanian Libertarian Union

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: May 2587

Description[?]:

An act to remove government interference from alcohol policy and thus leave it up to the parents to decide when and in what capacity they would like to allow their children to begin consuming alcohol. This again is one of the instances when it is up to the parent to be responsible enough to education their children rather than the state acting as the 'nanny' for children.

MessageExactly right, the previous bill bans parents altogether from determining what is the right age for their children to start consuming alcohol as it limits the consumption purely to 'adults' - thus a bill which limits purchases to adults alone but removes the restriction afterward alows for greater flexibility for all.
