Bill: Public Health Act II

Details

Submitted by[?]: Federal Republican Party (UCF)

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: October 2589

Description[?]:

We feel that there are other alternatives to cannabis for medical reasons and that in legalising it in general, we are only benefiting the criminals and scum that sell it.

Furthermore, cannabis is a powerfull hallucinogenic that may compel users to do harm to other individuals, which is completely unacceptable.

The government may not be a nanny, but it must protect its citizens, protect Mordusia.

MessageWe oppose, especialyl article one. Cannabis has less harmful effects when used continually medically than vicodin or oxycodein. These drugs are equal to, if not worse, in serverity. Shall we ban them too? Why limit a medical professional in the tools at their disposal?

We thought that the FRP was opposed to the state as a babysitter.

MessageThe government must protect law abiding citizens and bring down criminals. In legalising cannabis, it is failing to do its job.

MessageBy illegalizing cannabis, we are making law abiding citizens criminals for their personal choices that do not affect any other person. This will do nothing but INCREASE the criminal underground, and overpopulate our prisons with non-criminals.

MessageI agree with 2 but will vote no on this bill due to article 1.

MessageCitizens using cannibis are law abiding citizens, as it is legal. Your logic makes no sense whatsoever.
