MessageNuclear Power should be left to central government hands. Leaving the control of nuclear power plants to local governments is dangerous. How will they pay for it? Will they have the right security and how will they maintain safety by themselves for a long period of time?

Same with the general issue of energy. Central government should exercise their role in energy affairs to maximize efficiency and production.

MessageThat's not the stance the Conservative Alliance Party, we're voting against because 1) the article on nuclear power goes wants to reverse the law installed by the Fermi Bill and 2) It just goes against who we think should handle nuclear power.

MessageChange? The Hulstrian Nationalist Party believes that as both of these articles alter existing governmental policy toward energy generation and distribution, they qualify as 'a change'. We understand the concerns of the CAP, and even to some extent the FAP, but we believe that the Crownland governments are just as capable as the national government and wouldhandle the powers that this Act would give them responsibly and would enact laws for the benefit of the people of the various Crownlands.

Random quote: "In Germany they first came for the Communists and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Communist. Then they came for the Jews, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Jew. Then they came for the trade unionists and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a trade unionist. Then they came for the Catholics, and I didn't speak up because I was a Protestant. Then they came for me--and by that time no one was left to speak up." - Pastor Martin Niemoller
