Bill: Parliamentary Reform Bill
Details
Submitted by[?]: Darnussian Conservative Union
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: March 2592
Description[?]:
The past elections and Darnussia's growing population clearly shows that the time has come to increase the size of the Parliament. Currently, the Parliament is in a situation of having no true majority or minority. The parties are under ten seats between them and another party. By increasing the size of the Parliament, we can spread out the vote and create more of a difference between parties. |

Message | No we can't. Percentages stay the same anyway, so it is just waste of time. 301 is the traditional one and it should not be changed. |
Date | 22:00:47, June 14, 2008 CET | From | New-Revolutionary Communist Party (NRCP) | To | Debating the Parliamentary Reform Bill |
Message | In a parliament where seat margins are very close, the choosing of a government could rest on a tiny number of voters - it is vital that we have a more accurate method of representation. |

Random fact: Don't put "the" as the first word in your party name, because when parties are referred to in news reports, their names are preceded with "the", e.g. the [Socialist Party] has lost. |
