Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: April 2595

Adoption is excellently managed by liscenced private organisations. There is no real need for the government to provide an extra check-up on parents. Moreover, a large proportion of our citizens prefers complete deregulation over marginal government involvement on this issue. |

Message | We can't let meth addicts walk in to a building and just take a child. No, no, no. There are so many things wrong with this legislation. |

Message | How can you argue that a "large proportion of our citizens prefers complete deregulation over marginal government involvement on this issue" when the people that it actually will effect have no voice? Your argument is totally invalid. We cant let any old perverts take our future onto the streets or into brothels. Granted not everyone is after a cheap slave as a child, but taking away government safety nets is just opening the way for those who do want to use children for their terrible prepossess and we aren't even telling them to wipe their feet as they walk through it. |

Message | We're pretty sure that parents who give their children up for adoption will act responsibly. The Private Sector will self-regulate! |

Message | Kids who don't have dead parents have the same rights: their parents could be perverts just as well. If we screened out all to-be foster parents, the chance wouldn't be fair: kids with parents would wish their parents dead so that they could have new parents of whom they'd be sure they wouldn't molest them. We're in favour. |
