MessageThe Rakko Party supports this proposal. Governments should have no such thing as a radio channel. There is too much room to abuse it.

MessageHmm... I'm ambiguous on the subject of television privatization. Government run television channels aren't too biased, in my experience.

MessageIt's really the same thing ...you wouldn't be consistent in supporting one and opposing another. Remmeber this doesn't mean we can't have something like NPR, which serves a public function yet is not funded by the government.

MessageGood point. In all honesty, I'm ambigous on both. The voting populace solves my ambiguity though - smaller government is supported by the voters.

MessageShouldn't there be some control? We should have one main outlet sponsored by the government; not for propoganda purposes, but rather for cultural purposes that way the people can still rely on one media outlet that reflects their culture and heritage.

MessageIn America, people use NPR ..which is still private. Then theres the Discovery channel, Nat Geo , everything under the sun. There are show for almost anything under the sun. Why spend on another channel ...when we could use that money on something else?
