| Message | We are still opposed to this. It is ridiculous to change our National Anthem because of one word, whose equivilant in a different language is related to Nazism. I suppose we must change the Prayer of Ave Maria to conform with this new trend in it's English translation. Cildania has been resistant to Fascism for centuries, and we doubt that having the word "Hail" in our anthem is likely to change this trend anytime soon. |

| Message | It has nothing to do with nazism or communism. Hail in the sense you Hail the Sun, Hail the Dawn, Hail Britannia, not how one would Hail Virginia, Napoleon or Hitler. The Sun Rises like Cildania, Hail Cildania for it will last, strong, independent and unbroken as long as the sun stands in the sky. You could replace Hail with Greet, although greet suggests something new, but not with long live as Hail was a greeting long before it was highjacked for party political purposes. Why wish long life onto the dawn for is a totality, never to die and never to live and wish long life to your nation you are accepting that one day it will die, even a call for Immortality for Cildania suggests the potential for Cildanian expiration. Hail Cildania, Light of Justice, Light of Truth and Light of Glorious Freedom. And additionally how would long life to Cildania bring about the spring? If it has to be changed atleast check that it makes poetic, nationalistic and linguistic sense, and make sures its something with the same length and sound as hail so as not to ruin the tune. |
