Other proposals in the Bill aim at continuing the advancement of the SPoK's legislative agenda.

If this Act passes, Article 1 shall apply only to corporate entities. Individual rights to advertise shall not fall under this provision. Those who vote for this bill do so understanding that this exception exists within the language and spirit of the Bill.

MessageActually, we feel that there is a justified limit on advertising. Advertising helps only corporations and people trying to relieve themselves of their property. It is specifically designed to make people buy things that they probably shouldn't buy (if they should buy them, the seller shouldn't need to advertise).

In other words, we feel it is legitimate to deny corporations rights because corporations are not citizens, and therefore have no rights. Corporations should accept the privilege of doing business in Kalistan and the regulations that go along with that.

Therefore, while I know we offered to separate out the advertising clause, we have decided that instead, we will include a disclaimer in the description to protect advertising by individual citizens, and apply Article 1 only to corporations and businesses, which do not posses free speech.

Random fact: Periodically, it is a good idea to go through your nation's Treaties and arrange to withdraw from any that are unwanted.

Random quote: "If you have an apple, and I have an apple, and we exchange the apples, then you and I will still each have one apple. But if you have an idea, and I have an idea, and we exchange these ideas, then each of us will have two ideas." - George Bernard Shaw
