Message | Why should the government be able to tell people they can't do drugs? The use of cannabis hurts no one but yourself so it's not imposing on any one else's rights. |

Message | While I am strongly against recreational drug use, gambling, and tobacco, I believe local governments should decide on laws concerning them. |

Message | Though I am not completely against a national law that would forbid recreational drug use. I still think it would be best if it were left to local governments. |

Message | Drugs do not do anything good for the people. It makes them stupid and crazy. Drugs ruin lives, families and can cause people to do crimes. I think anything that does has those horrible effects should be banned. |

Message | We strongly support the sentiment behind each of the articles in this legislation - gambling, tobacco and drugs are vices that exploit the imperfect, decadent nature of man. These social plagues breed a culture of addiction, self-indulgence and death, and perpetuate social and moral decay. For these reasons, we support this legislation. However, as the Dustintml Party have quite rightly pointed out, we would prefer these decisions to be left to local governments, perhaps with the exception of recreational drugs. We certainly support these measures for now, however, as a vast improvement on current legislation. |
